Before trusting AI, read this

According to Search Engine Land data, 37% of consumers start searches with AI instead of Google. Even when you search on Google, most of the searches have an AI summary on top.

Ask yourself, do you also ask AI whenever you are stuck in a work-related task?

or for asking suggestions related to the product that you want to purchase?

What is actually happening is that you are being dependent on it even for small things, and the moment when you ask AI is the moment you are more vulnerable and the chances of you trusting AI are high. During that moment, before trusting, it is more important to think twice or more than that.

Recently, I was creating content and thought of recording a small conversation with AI to see how it understands my query and answers it.

I said, “I need some help.”

Obviously, AI didn’t deny it and then responded to me, “Shoot”.

I asked, “I am planning for a bike wash, and the washing centre is only 50 metres away, so should I walk or should I go on my bike? Answer me in 1 line with reason.”

AI responded, “Walk. It’s just 50 metres, saves gas, and keeps your bike clean before the wash.”

Why would I go to a bike washing centre without my bike? The purpose was a bike wash, not me walking to the washing centre.

Of course, these tools are really helpful, but they still need human supervision.

Especially when it comes to your health, think more than twice before trusting anything randomly.

Just because many are following doesn’t mean it’s right. Ask questions; check the data before trusting, because you only have one body.

Even when you are building your software application, AI can write a lot of code for you, but it still needs your supervision to cross-check the code, test the application, and most importantly, communicating with your customers and providing support in a human form, and that is something

No matter if your job is in the research field, teaching or anything, human supervision is non-negotiable because AI can support us and make the task easier, but AI can’t think for us, and that’s what makes you rare and human.

Really a game-changer
